Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) at the Fairfield Library
SimplifyCT.org is pleased to return once again to the Fairfield Library. We are proud to partner with
CodeForAmerica’s Get Your Refund program to be able to assist our neighbors and provide
safe, secure, completely free tax preparation.
If you have a question about your return or are following up on your appointment at the Fairfield Library, please call us, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, at 860-590-8910.
Tax season for the 2023 filing year begins the week of January 22, 2024.
We are holding in-person appointments for this season, but we are also following all the local and state COVID guidelines.
If you’d like to have your taxes done at the Fairfield Library, you do NOT need an appointment. Just come to the library during our scheduled Tax Prep hours.
Library Appointment Hours: Tuesdays from 9:30am – 3:30pm
